Essential Qualification:

Candidates should possess Radio Telephone Operators (Inland Maritime) Certificate of proficiency issued by the Govt. of India or should possess Radio Telephone Operators (restricted) certificate of proficiency ( Maritime Mobile Service) issued by the Govt. of India. 

Candidates must pass a second class signaler’s test (Navy) during the period of probation.

Salary Details:

Job hunters who will be selected will be paid Rs. 16300 – 38200/- per month as salary from Chennai Port Trust.

Age Limit:

Age of applying candidates should not be more than 25 years as on 01. 01. 2016. Relaxation in 

Age Limit is available up to 5 years for SCs / STs, 3 years for OBCs and for Physically Challenged, upper age limit for persons with disabilities shall be relaxed by ten years.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be appointed as per their performance in test / interview, which will be organized by the selection panel of Chennai Port Trust. According to performance of applicants in these rounds candidates will be selected for suitable posts.
