Post Name, Essential Qualification and Salary Details:

Librarian	Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science with at least 55% mark  and a minimum of 13 years of experience	Rs. 37,400 – 67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/-
Assistant Librarian	A Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks, NET Qualified	Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6,000/
Security Assistant	Graduate and Minimum three years Security Supervisory experience	Rs. 5,500 – 20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2,800/- + DA

Age Limit:

For post of Librarian age of applying candidates should not exceed from 50 years and for post of Assistant age must not be more than 35 years. Age relaxation for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Serviceman will be as per Govt. of India rules

Application Fee:

For SC/ ST candidates: No Fee

For Other category candidates: Rs. 500/-

Fee should be submitted through a crossed demand draft in favour of “Registrar, Indian School of Mines.

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Mere eligibility will not vest any right on any candidate for being called for interview. The decision of the Institute in all matters will be final.
