Educational Qualification:

Aspirants should possess MBBS or equivalent Degree from a Medical college or Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Age Limitation:

Candidates should have age between 21 to 32 years as on 1st January 2016. Age relaxations of 5 years for SEBC /SC /ST /Women /EXSM candidates, 10 years for PH candidates are applicable.

Pay Scale:

Rs. 15,600 to 39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month will be the scale of pay offered to candidates appointed to fill up the vacant post of Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon).

Application Charges:

Aspirants have to pay an application fee of Rs. 300/- to be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India using Online Challan (pay-in slip).

There is No Fee for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates

Selection Procedure:

The selection of applying applicants for the position of Medical Officer will be made on the basis of performance in Written Test and career making.
