Educational Qualification and Age Limit:

Post-Doctoral Research Fellow/Research Engineer
M.Tech or Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or any related field (preferably CSIR NET/GATE qualified for M.Tech)
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
M. Sc/M. Phil, Organic Chemistry/Chemistry with GATE/NET.
Junior Research Fellow / Project Fellow
First Class M.Sc in (Organic) Chemistry. Preference will be given to candidates with NET/GATE score.
Age limit:
Should not be more than 28 years One to two years of research experience in organic synthesis may be desirable.
Project Assistant
First class in M.Sc chemistry / organic / pharmaceutical chemistry
Desirable Qualification
Experiences in organic synthesis, separation / chromatographic techniques and publication in refereed journals.

Salary Package:

Pay Scale
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow/Research Engineer
Fellowship: Rs.40,000 per month (commensurate with experience) + 20% HRA.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Rs.27, 500/- PM (25,000/- + 10 % HRA per month)
Junior Research Fellow / Project Fellow
Rs.25, 000+HRA/- pm for first two years for NET/GATE qualified candidate and 28,000+HRA/- pm for third year for NET/GATE qualified candidate.
Fellowship:
Rs.16,000/-pm consolidated for first two years
Rs 18,000/- pm for third year for non NET/GATE qualified candidate.
Project Assistant
Selected candidates will be initially taken as Project Assistant (PA) and will be paid according to DST norms.
The fellowship will be provided initially for a period of one year. Continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and review at the end of each year.
Candidates recruited for PA can register for pursuing Ph.D programme in VIT University, Vellore.

Mode of Selection:

Selection of talented contenders will be based on performance in Interview.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
