Qualification Required:

Applicants should have good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject of concerned faculty from an Indian University.

Besides fulfilling above qualifications, contenders should have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC / CSIR / ICAR / similar test conducted by the State Government and should have published at lest one article in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Science, New Delhi) rated journal.

Applicants who have acquired Ph.D. degree with course work as per the UGC Notification-2009 with two full length publications having NAAS rating not less than four, on the last date of submission of application will be exempted from NET requirement.

Note: Candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not be eligible for NET exemption.

Other Qualification Required:

Contenders must possess basic knowledge of computer application equivalent to course on computer concepts of Department of Electronic Accreditation of Computer course (DOEACC) Society or of the level as may be determined by the state Govt. from time to time.

Age Limit:

Applicants’ age should be below 35 years

Age Relaxation is applicable only for reserved category

Mode of Selection:

Selection of eligible and talented contenders will be based on performance in test or interview process

Salary Scale:

Selected contenders will earn good amount of pay scale of Rs.15600- Rs.39100/- + A.G.P. Rs.6, 000/-

Application fee:

General category candidate are required to pay an amount of Rs.1000/-

S.C. / S.T. / S.E.B.C./ P.H. category candidate of Gujarat have to deposit an amount of Rs.250/-
